Chapter 36. Spiral

Alexander was steadily integrating into the mafia world, which means the little unit of the largest and deadliest mafia in Italy. He adapted to the role of Anderson Andrews until the acting was flawless and completely foolproof.

Turns out, the unit was not so little as earlier assumed. Alexander found this out after Don had called him on a free day and decided to take him on a drive.

As much as Alexander was curious to find out where Don intended to drive to, he kept silent.

The road was a complicated one, with enough twists and turns to confuse the smartest mind.

His tracker was buried in the pocket of his shirt, courtesy of Bob, who insisted that Alexander needed to keep it on him at all times.

“Where are we headed to?” Alexander finally succumbed to the curiosity.

Don threw him a quick look before facing the road again.

“I really like you, Anderson,” he took a turn. “Which made me want to show you to the boss.”
