Chapter 10. Disagreement

Ryan’s POV

After the meeting with Ellie, I sat down without saying a word as I couldn’t help but think about her and appreciate everything she represented. She was truly a beauty to behold.

I have always found her to be interesting after our encounter the night I almost, ran her over with my car but I never knew I would be more keen on getting to know her more.

“And what is it that bothers you?” Luke said from behind, handing me a cup of coffee while getting seated next to me.

“Thank you, Luke,” I said taking the cup from him and having a sip of the coffee before proceeding to speak to him.

“It’s nothing much, it is just something that I can’t get off my mind,” I replied sipping more into the coffee.

“Come on, Ryan, it’s something more if you are thinking too hard about it, don’t you think?” Luke said not agreeing with me.

“Yea you are quite right, but like I said it’s nothing much,” I replied.

“So what is it? If I may ask,” Luk
