Chapter 50. Voodoo

Hunter’s POV

I awoke to find myself in a completely different location than I previously was—a mud hut with leaves mixed in the walls?

My clothes were changed, and I was now wearing a white tunic and white trousers. My weapons were nowhere in sight; my hands were bound, but my legs were free.

I moved around and tried to break through the locked door, but to no avail.

It wasn’t a normal wooden door; it seemed to be enchanted because as I hit it, it felt like steel.

I waited on my bed for quite some time; I was definitely their prisoner. Eventually, they’d have to come check on me or give me sustenance. But what did Rafael want with me? Was he going to hand me over to the Krent pack, or was it for another reason? My answer would soon come as the door opened up.
