Chapter 31. Clash of Two Lycans

“Okay, let’s talk on the patio,” Willow interjected.

She slammed the front door halfway shut and leaned against the railing. Willow’s eyes glared angrily at Max, appalled that Zoey’s father had come unannounced. Especially when she was with Kyler. It filled Willow with a sense of shame.

But why should she be ashamed? Was it because Max was her ex-boyfriend? Or was it because her story was unfinished? So Willow didn’t want Max to know that she was in a new relationship with someone else?

“What do I need to know? Is your mother trying to take Zoey away from me? Does she know that Zoey is your daughter?” Willow fired. “Listen, Max, no matter what happens, I will not let you take her away from me!”

“No, I have no intention of taking Zoey. I don’t think my mom does either.”

“Then what?”

“Zoey’s abduction was a terrible incident; she became a victim of experimentation. I don’t want anything to happen to her again because of a lack of supervision.”
