Lola's POV

I woke up in the early hours of the morning with a massive headache, and I did not want to get out of bed for fear of being a laughingstock in the pack. People can be so mean, and I did not feel like being an object of ridicule today.

I felt Lyla waking up beside me, and I acted like I was sleeping so that she'd let me be in peace.
