Chapter 11. No Going Back
Leah’s POV
The words of the woman hit me like a truck going at high speed. My throat felt tight and my heart raced even more. I wanted to continue. I wanted to continue to beg her, but what was the use?
She too did not want to put her life in danger. And I would feel crappy if I was the reason that it happened. So I took in a deep breath and wiped my face with the back of my hand before standing to my feet.
My head hurt really bad, and so did my body. I felt like throwing up and it felt like that could happen at any second. I sniffled and nodded, accepting my fate. There was no way that I was going to change this.
I wanted to, but I could not. And even God knows how much I had tried.
“What are you going to do to me?” I asked her. I wanted to at least know what was going to be done. I did have a clue though, but I wanted to be sure. I did not want to guess or rely on
