Chapter 42. Not Again

Dominus' POV

I sat down nervously on Lucia's parents' couch waiting for them to come downstairs. Lucia had gone upstairs to tell them I was around.

After I spoke to Maureen and entered the house, Lucia had told me that her parents called and they said they would be around so we could come. 

She called them earlier in the morning and they said they would be available by mid day. When she told me they called, I instantly felt unsure.

Lucia had let us in with her spare key. All the way to the house she had reassured me several times that her parents would love me.

'They would love me of course. I am officially the most handsome boy in the pack,' I had joked even if my heart was in turmoil.

As I sat in their sitting room waiting for them, I felt very nervous. A lot of questions played in my head. Would they want me to be with their daughter? Would they accept me as a mate for their daughter? Would Lucia stand with me if her parents said they don't want
