Chapter 92. Tell Him

I blinked when I heard a calm voice yet loud enough for everyone to hear. Carl held my hand tightly before turning his gaze toward the source of the voice. I couldn't resist looking to see where the voice was coming from.

Carl's grip on my hand tightened as we both saw Roy approaching. There was no emotion in his eyes, and it was surreal to see him walking towards us. The people around us started to murmur in confusion, and I felt dizzy, unable to take my eyes off Roy, who was holding an envelope.

"What the... Roy?" Carl exclaimed, his voice trembling with a hint of disbelief.

I took a step back when Roy turned his attention towards me.

"Tell him, Ina," he said.

Carl's face showed increasing confusion as I turned to look at him. His brows were furrowed even more deeply than before, and he seemed utterly bewildered.

"Ina?" he asked, turning his attention back to me.

I shook my head in response and couldn't help but laugh nervously. "What is this?"
