Chapter 8
“I did not quite get your name,” I said as I walked to the mirror and made her face me through it.
She smiled. “I am Lucia, but you can call me Lulu,” she told me, collecting the bracelet on the table in front of her.
I picked up my bags from where Mom had laid them for me, walked to the bed, and started unpacking my bags and placing the contents inside the wardrobe.
Lucia had all the space occupied. So with the little space left for me to fix up my clothes, I had to keep some of them inside my travel bag.
“Elisabeth?” As I barely took a step back, Lucia called me.
“Yes?” I finally faced her.
“Do you want to attend a party with me?” she asked, taking her time to look at my face.
“A party? I don’t think I would want to go,” I said as I leaned against the wooden chair at my side.
“Come on, Elisabeth, you’re new. The school has a bonfire night for both the newbies and the other students who already attend here,” Lucia replied, not moving
