Chapter 67
Summer POV
Ezra wrapped his arms around my waist and glued me to his chest.
“You have to talk to her.”
“No, I’m not ready.”
His grip tightened. “Is badass Summer afraid?”
“Say what you want, I’m leaving.”
He barked out a laugh. “Where are you going? You live here.”
Right because my Daddy kicked me out, I stopped struggling and leaned into him. He turned me around so I could look at him.
“You need to talk to her. Hear her out.”
I nodded. “Fine.”
He pressed his lips on my forehead. “I love you. Go on.”
“Where are you going?” I asked.
“Uh… I’ll be around.”
“You’re running away?” I folded my arms.
“Alphas do not run away. I have boarders to patrol.”
I gripped his hands and looked into his eyes. “I’m sorry about Noah. When’s his farewell?”
“Tonight. The whole Pack’s going to be there. We’ll be vulnerable but I can’t deny him a dignified farewell.”
“You know you can count on me.”
