Chapter 36. The Brewing Storm

After seeing Isabella look at Kaelan longingly, my mood dropped even further. I knew she could never have Kaelan but I still couldn’t keep myself from worrying.

Kaelan didn’t feel comfortable seeing that I was in a bad mood but I couldn’t help it. He tried to find out what was bothering me but I couldn’t just tell him that I was jealous because another woman looked at him.

Kaelan was the man of my dreams and I couldn’t stand the thought of sharing him with any other woman.

To make me happy, Kaelan teased me and told me all sorts of crazy stories about his childhood experiences while he went hunting. I was forced to laugh while I listened to him.
