After tasting Alex’s food, he was always a very good cook. I think if it wasn’t for my parents falling ill a long time ago, he would be the chef at some prestigious restaurant in the village. Who knows what might have become of him if all that hadn’t happened? Well, right now, my older brother, who was only a year older than me, was trying to get me to tell him what had brought me here, but I just didn’t want to tell him why; I was afraid he would take me back to James since he was always trying to get us together because according to him we made a cute couple.
