I woke up to the sounds of someone cooking, I tossed and turned several times as I didn’t want to wake up. I wanted to keep sleeping for the simple fact that I couldn’t see Max’s face. I didn’t understand his last words last night, but they reminded me of a lot of words James used to say to me a long time ago; I had spent most of the night remembering old times that would never come back.
