Chapter 5

Sara's POV

Max had taken me by the hand until we went into the forest. I was complaining a lot but then he told me to shut up saying that nothing bad was going to happen because there were other people. I just didn’t want to run into my worst nightmare.

Max stopped when a” wolf with an orange coat jumped on him and started to lick his face, even though he pushed her away to the ground. He looked at me, trying to apologize, but between him and me stood a black wolf. I started playing with Alex; I liked playing with his wolf form. He was very affectionate.

“Come on Alex, let me get close to her.” Max moved closer, but my brother growled, baring his fangs.

I took Alex in my arms, kissing his soft fur. I told him to go play with the other wolves, and he did.
