Chapter 18
Josephine’s POV
When I woke up from sleep the next day, I felt dreary and tired. Apparently, a good night’s sleep had done nothing to help me after all. Elle had barely said up to five words to me that morning before she left for class, and strangely enough, I didn’t mind. I had enough problems to worry about. On top of the list was who was going to mentor me on how to become a bad girl.
The first period was the longest. I didn’t know if it had anything to do with the fact that I did not like the course that was being taught or that everything about the tutor, from her dress to the color of her lipstick, was dull and unappealing.
The two-hour class soon dragged to a close, and I pulled my tired body up from the seat and headed toward the field to think since that had obviously become my favorite thinking spot.
I was halfway through the hallway when I bumped into Tave. I wasn’t expecting to see him, so I stood fixated on the spot when my eyes fell on him.
