Chapter 33. Caught up

Sarah threw her body on the mattress covered by the linen sheets with an awkward feeling. She was so angry that she felt like screaming.

How could she possibly feel worthy of someone like Matthew? Her feelings completely blinded her, so she was willing to undertake a dangerous mission that might take her life. All this time, she lied to herself. She hid that she joined that mission to pay her debt to Anthony Russo and escalate her social status so she would feel confident to love someone like Matthew.

Forever, she would be a poor Sarah with low social status, and she wouldn’t be able to get a better life unless her plan worked out in these three days.
