Victor stood on the other side of the door, his dark eyes sweeping over her with sharp calculation. He didn’t look angry…no, that would have been easier to deal with.
Instead, he looked amused. That was worse.
Anna forced a tight-lipped smile. “Victor.”
He stepped inside without waiting for an invitation, his cologne thick in the air, his presence suffocating. The door shut behind him with a quiet click.
She folded her arms. “What do you want?”
