Chapter 23. Defiled

Zeus POV

Elara’s eyes are shining with an excitement that I haven’t seen from her since before she left for college. I don’t have the heart to tell her that strip poker is the worst idea she has ever had. Leaning back against her headboard, I decide to let Zeke pop her bubble.

She bolts from the room, no longer caring about being quiet. I can hear the thud of her feet scampering down the hall. I just hope she doesn’t wake up Mom and Dad.

A few minutes later, Zane comes stumbling into her bedroom in only his boxers. He flops down on the bed and groans. “What does she want? It is so late or early. One of the two.”

“She’s bored,” I sigh.

“So, we all have to be involved?” He whines.

“You are going to regret that statement once you hear what she wants to do,” I laugh.
