Chapter 103. Dark Legacy

“Chris I got a call—”  She starts, not sure where she is going with this, but needs to say something to justify why she is sneaking into the house at 1 am like a drunken teenager.

“Save it, Lara. You are just going to lie again and I don't think my heart can take it.
