Chapter 124
Gabbie POV
The café was busier than I’d ever seen it. The people who came in were happy and lovely. More than a few people told me I looked familiar and they believed they’d seen me somewhere. It was the strong resemblance I had to Adrianna, my Mom, but I couldn’t tell them that.
“I’ve never seen my little café this busy!” Marleen squealed.
“You might need to hire more help,” I winked.
Marleen worked the counter while I wiped the tables and waited on tables.
“Yes, because I’m expanding!” She chuckled.
A pair of elderly women waved as they left the café. I smiled and waved back. The door opened after them, and Kade, Atlas and Holden strolled in. Alpha Kade was like a light bulb and everyone else were moths, including me.
Ugh, this separate living was hurting me. I couldn’t wait until the renovations were done and I could wake up next to him again.
I picked up the menu and strolled to their table near the window.
