Gage’s POV

I’m about to turn down the offer when I think better of it. Sitting here all day might not get me the person I’m after. If Zach works here, then she’ll have an idea where he’ll be at the moment.

“Actually, there is something I need.” Her face lights up and she gives me more than her full attention, both physically and mentally.

“I’m looking for Zach. I’m supposed to get something from him today and I can’t seem to find him anywhere.” She gives me a knowing smile, probably assuming that I’m here for dr*gs.

“I don’t think you searched hard enough honey. He’s in his usual spot.” She drawls.

“That’s the problem. I’ve never met up with him here before. He told me to meet him here during our last encounter. Unfortunately, he left out the details of his location.” I take another swig of my drink as my eyes dart around subtly.
