Chapter 8. The Feeling of Jealousy

Mika went to her office without even greeting or smiling back at Sam. She remembered what she saw yesterday, and she seemed annoyed thinking about how Sam looked and smiled at his first love, Mary. A deep sigh came out of her mouth while shaking her head and staring at her computer. Sam and Mika had been close friends for a long time. They shared countless memories and experiences, and Mika valued their friendship above all else. Mika’s feelings for Sam, however, got more complicated when he started dating Mary.

Mika had secretly fallen in love with him when they were in high school, but she took a step back when she knew that Sam and Mary were already dating. That’s why when she saw them together yesterday, there was a feeling of jealousy running through her.

Mika didn’t even realize that it was time for lunch. She was preoccupied inside her office when someone knocked and came inside. Smiling, Sam greeted her when he came in.
