Chapter 5

Selene's POV

When we arrived at the cafeteria, Haruki immediately served me food.

He's the only one of the two of us who enjoys happiness, so I'm used to it.

"Why did you bring me here? I'm not hungry yet," Haruki protested.

Before begging, I frowned. "I can't think of anything else," he admitted, sighing.

"About what?"

"I can't tell you because that's my big secret," I replied before taking the burger on the table.

Before I ate it, I smelled it for a long.

"I knew it; just smell it; it's delicious," I explained.

"You can be a burger promoter!"" Haruki chuckled, and I stepped on his foot.

"Damn you"

We stayed for a few more minutes before heading back to class.

I basically used the time we had for a break to avoid talking to Dominic.

That is the only option I have.

Dominic was always silent in class when our lecturers were together.

But when it was time for our second break, He called me again.
