Chapter 15. Just Lick

Lacey yelled out as she quickly sat up on her bed, gasping profusely as if she were choking. She glanced around, realizing she was still in her hotel room.

“It’s another strange dream. It looked so real,” she thought to herself, making a sigh of relief. “It’s just a dream,” she muttered, picking up her cell phone. She rubbed her bleary eyes as she gazed at the screen of her phone.

“It’s past 2 AM,” she muttered once more, tossing her phone away. For the past few weeks, after meeting Alex Cole, she had been having strange dreams of them making love as if they were connected. What ruined the dream was the moment a strange creature emerged to attack them.
