Chapter 19. Guilt-Stricken
Unable to control himself, he asked Kathy to summon Brooklyn to his study room. He needed to talk to her immediately.
Brooklyn took a shower and changed into an old pink top, pairing it with the black skirt that was the uniform for servers at The Chicago Lunchbox. She was ready to go to work. She knew she had to repay the money her brother had taken.
