Chapter 6

It was early in the morning, and Henry woke up early, dressing up for work. He stared at Audrey, who was still deep in sleep, then sighed. She had been really beautiful, but he had hated the fact that it was not Maya who was in bed with him. He kept wondering how Maya would react when he got to his office.

He walked out of the bedroom and went to the garage where his car was parked. Getting in, he drove off while thinking about what he would tell Maya, but he couldn’t think of anything. Arriving at his office, he got out of the car and walked into the company with his usual swag, exuding confidence and power. His well-groomed hair was styled perfectly, and his facial features were chiseled and angular. His workers greeted him as he walked, but he ignored them and entered the elevator.

“Anytime I see him, I get chills,” one of his workers said.
