“Where the hell have you been!” Ted and Nina’s voices blasted out of the phone and into my ears. The loud sound of their voices jolted me awake.

I winced in pain as a heavy frown creased my brows, “What was that for? I was sleeping. Don’t people sleep off a hangover when they know they have serious business to face the next day at work?”

“Work?” Ted sounded surprised, and I grinned.

“You’re listening to the new CEO of our company construction firm,” I replied, and Nina shrieked excitedly into the phone.
