Chapter 22

Damien was left completely speechless as he looked ahead of him and Cassandra stepped out of her car.

It didn’t take long before she could feel that somebody was looking at her intensely. Her eyes traveled over to see that it was her ex-boyfriend, trying to see through her soul with the way he was staring at her. She immediately blushed with embarrassment and shock, but she hid it.

Before she could recover, her father stepped out of the other side of the car, asking her why she had suddenly stopped moving. His question was quickly answered without any words from his daughter as he looked forward and saw Damien.

He gritted his teeth and then, with a smile that didn’t hide his obvious irritation towards the younger male in front of him, he stepped forward.

“I wasn’t expecting to see you here, but I should have known that we would cross paths again eventually…”
