Chapter 6
The music stopped, snapping Ella out of her trance as she fell upon the pool of blood splashed all over the floor. She turned to look at my also dumbfounded face and immediately screamed for help.
I watched her run off with her bags hitting her back as her screams drew everyone in to see what happened. The authorities arrived at the college to investigate the incident, and my parents, in their lawyer uniforms, barged in upon the call from Judge Washington Gates.
