Chapter 60. Hit Man
Andrew pushed the front door of his grandfather’s house open. He stalked straight to the dining table where he knew the rest of the family would be.
Right as he thought. The rest of the family: his mom, dad and his grandmother.
Two maids stood at the corner dressed in their crisp white shirts and smooth black skirts. The table was much more sparse than he had ever seen it.
But he stalked right past his parents to Melvin, who sat at the other end of the table, where Elaine had sat at the last dinner. Melvin’s butt in the chair raised anger from the depths of him that he didn’t know he possessed. He flew at his brother and landed two punches on his brother’s face, yelling. “How could you? How could you?”
Melvin rose and pushed him in the chest. He staggered backwards unto the table, causing the dishes and glasses to clatter downwards in a crashing symphony.
Melvin rushed at him. “What’d you do that for?”
Andrew rose, barely missing the sole of Melvi
