Author’s POV

Alpha Caden had waited long enough. The rogues were out and it was his time to take over again. He had managed to lockdown the palace but he had other players to stall - starting from Lucian. He wanted to separate both Rhea and Lucian.

He looked at Braden, his eyes dark with anger. “Take her to our special place now, make sure he doesn’t stop us. I don’t care how you do it” the darkness in his eyes held all the message it needed to hold and Braden nodded.

Lucian couldn’t take his eyes off Rhea, he had watched her for all the time they had spent her. He didn’t know how much time had passed, to him it seemed like days in total. He looked at Cassian who stood by the door, watching Rhea just as he had been.

He hated his presence. He wanted to send him out but there was one fact - they were still alive because of Cassian. He had to give his brother that much credit. He turned back to watch Rhea, staring at the stillness of her body.
