Chapter 48. You Have to Leave

I furrowed my brows in confusion. “What?”

“You heard me, Sara. Giveon will help teach you how to shift into your wolf. But to defeat the darkness coming, you’d need to use your witch side too. And that means going to your mother’s hometown.”

I didn’t like the sound of that. I mean, I wanted to know more about the woman who was actually my mom; my flesh and blood, but at the same time, she was already dead, nothing that I’d do would bring her back.

“Do I have to do that?” I asked.

The woman chuckled. “We don’t have much time, dear. You should leave by tonight, I will get the Elders to give you the location of the town, it’s not far from ours.”

My heart was thumping in my chest while I was trying to mentally chew on everything that had been spat at me. I didn’t know what else to say, so I just sat there, wondering how in the world I was going to be able to learn to shift into my wolf, and tap into my witch side in a matter of days…or even less.
