He remembered coming back to the office the day before yesterday, after he was done with his classes for the day. There hadn’t been much, so he quickly took his car and drove over to the office to continue working on the project with Candice.
He wasn’t exactly thrilled to be working with her, but at the same time, he had to just put up with it, realizing that he was going to meet a bunch of other people that he didn’t particularly like in business, and it wouldn’t be professional if he snubbed all of them just because he didn’t have a good personal relationship with them.
As long as she was not trying to flaunt herself in front of him, he would be able to tolerate her. He was expecting it to be another regular day at the office, but he didn’t know that things were about to go south—and quickly, too.
