Chapter 53. Going Down
NEW YORK CITY BANK
The night was quiet. The streets were empty except for the stray dogs chasing after a lost cat. The cat meowed, running for her life. The loud squealing of the tires that rolled across the streets dispersed the dogs, each running in a different direction.
A black van pulled over in front of New York City Bank. The tailgate of the van swung open as four men dressed in similar outfits to the gang of robbers jumped down from the van. Each was carrying a shotgun and had a side pistol strapped to their waist. One of the masked men moved to the driver’s side, “Keep the engine running; we won’t stay long,” he said to the driver.
It was past 1 AM, and the bank was closed. This didn’t stop a robbery from going down. It was a perfect time to hit the bank with the right equipment. They came with explosives.
